Outdorable 'Last for Good' Guarantee

TWO RANGES. ONE PROMISE.

Built to Last For Good

Every piece of Outdorable play equipment is designed to earn its place in your outdoor learning environment for the long term.

With the introduction of the HIVE Collection, you can now choose the material that best suits your setting: high-performance HDPE and aluminium, or premium natural Accoya timber. Each collection offers its own advantages, but both are built around the same Last For Good philosophy.

HIVE Collection

HDPE & Aluminium

The HIVE Collection combines powder-coated aluminium frames with textured HDPE panels. It is designed for centres seeking bold colour, minimal maintenance and dependable everyday performance in busy outdoor play environments.

  • Powder-coated aluminium frames — Hardened, strong and corrosion-resistant, with a durable finish designed to withstand sun, rain and coastal conditions.
  • Textured HDPE panels — lightly grained surfaces provide added grip at key handholds and footholds during active play.
  • Colour throughout the material — pigment runs through the HDPE panel rather than being applied only to the surface, helping minimise the appearance of scratches and long-term colour wear.
  • Low maintenance — easy to clean and resistant to moisture, with no oiling, painting or recoating required.
  • Built for busy environments — durable materials and construction suited to the demands of supervised early-learning settings.

10-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty

The HIVE Collection is backed by an Outdorable 10-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty covering manufacturing defects in the frames, HDPE panels, and metal and rope attachments, subject to the warranty terms below.

Premium Accoya Collection

Sustainable Timber

The Premium Accoya Collection is our original timber range, combining advanced timber technology with refined craftsmanship and premium finishing systems.

Manufactured from sustainably sourced Accoya timber, the collection offers exceptional dimensional stability and resistance to rot, decay and moisture. It is designed for centres and architectural projects seeking a natural material palette, premium appearance and dependable long-term outdoor performance.

  • Premium Accoya timber — exceptionally stable, with reduced swelling, shrinking and movement compared with many conventional timbers.
  • Highly resistant to rot and decay — engineered for dependable performance in demanding exterior environments.
  • Premium finishing system — developed to protect the timber and provide a smooth, refined appearance.
  • Naturally distinctive — genuine timber grain, texture and character give every piece its own unique appearance.
  • Sustainably sourced — a high-performance timber choice designed with longevity and environmental responsibility in mind.
  • Maintainable and repairable — maintenance and repair kits are available to help refresh the finish and maximise the product’s service life.

10-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty

The complete Premium Accoya Collection is backed by an Outdorable 10-Year Manufacturer’s Warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials, construction and workmanship, subject to the warranty terms below.

25-Year Accoya Timber Warranty

The Accoya timber itself is separately backed by a 25-year Accoya timber warranty against rot and decay in above-ground exterior applications, subject to Accoya’s applicable warranty terms and conditions.

This 25-year timber warranty applies specifically to the Accoya timber substrate. It is not an additional 25-year warranty on the complete Outdorable product, its finish, hardware, ropes, attachments or workmanship.

Different Materials. The Same Commitment.

Neither collection is simply better than the other. They offer two distinct material choices for different environments and design preferences.

HIVE is ideal for centres seeking colour options, low maintenance and durable, high-grip surfaces. Premium Accoya is designed for those who prefer the warmth and character of natural sustainable timber and a timeless finish that can be maintained and refreshed over time.

What the Outdorable Manufacturer’s Warranty Covers

The Outdorable Manufacturer’s Warranty applies to the original purchaser and covers manufacturing defects in the materials, structural construction and workmanship of the product when used normally in its intended supervised early-learning, educational or other approved environment.

During the applicable warranty period, Outdorable may, at its discretion:

  • repair the defective product or component;
  • provide a replacement part or component; or
  • replace the affected product with the same or a reasonably comparable product.

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly from Outdorable or through an authorised Outdorable distributor or reseller.

Warranty Eligibility

To remain eligible for warranty coverage, products must:

  • be assembled and installed correctly in accordance with Outdorable instructions;
  • be used only for their intended purpose and recommended age group;
  • be supervised and used in accordance with applicable operating guidelines;
  • be inspected and maintained in accordance with Outdorable care and maintenance recommendations;
  • not be subjected to misuse, neglect, vandalism, accidental damage or abnormal conditions; and
  • not be modified, altered or repaired by an unauthorised person.

Any modification or repair not completed or approved by Outdorable or an authorised service technician may affect or void the relevant warranty coverage.

Maintenance and Product Longevity

Outdorable products are designed to provide many years of outdoor use. Regular inspection, cleaning and maintenance are important for preserving their safety, appearance and performance.

Maintenance requirements will vary depending on the collection, intensity of use and local environmental conditions. More frequent care may be required in coastal, high-UV or highly exposed environments.

Outdorable offers maintenance and repair kits to help customers clean, refresh and preserve their equipment. Normal cleaning, tightening, surface touch-ups, oiling where applicable, and replacement of worn consumable components are considered routine maintenance and are not manufacturing defects.

Natural Timber Characteristics

Timber is a natural material that continues to respond to its environment throughout its service life. Variations in grain, colour, texture and appearance are inherent features of genuine timber products.

Minor surface checking, fine hairline splits and limited movement may occur as timber adjusts to changes in moisture, temperature and exposure. These natural characteristics are generally cosmetic and do not necessarily affect the product’s structural integrity, strength or expected service life.

What Is Not Covered

Unless required otherwise by applicable law, the Outdorable Manufacturer’s Warranty does not cover:

  • natural variations in timber grain, colour, texture or character;
  • differences between display samples, photography and completed products;
  • normal weathering, fading, greying or ageing of surface finishes;
  • ordinary wear and tear arising from use;
  • scratches, dents, chips, scuffs or impact marks;
  • minor surface checking or hairline splits in natural timber;
  • damage caused by incorrect assembly, installation, storage, handling or maintenance;
  • damage caused by dragging, dropping, collision, misuse, vandalism or abuse;
  • minor chips or splinters resulting from general outdoor use;
  • cosmetic deterioration caused by UV exposure, salt air, water pooling or other environmental conditions;
  • textile or rope fading, discolouration or ordinary wear;
  • consumable components and routine maintenance items;
  • unauthorised modifications or repairs; or
  • damage caused by extreme weather, natural disasters or events outside Outdorable’s reasonable control, including floods, storms, hail, cyclones, earthquakes and fire.

Warranty Limitations

This warranty sets out the warranty coverage and remedies offered by Outdorable in relation to its products.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Outdorable Limited and its related entities exclude all other warranties and representations, whether express, implied or statutory, except where those warranties or representations cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing in these warranty terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under applicable consumer protection legislation.

Making a Warranty Claim

Warranty enquiries should first be directed to the Outdorable distributor or retailer from whom the product was purchased. Products purchased directly from Outdorable may be submitted through the Outdorable service request form.

To assess a claim, we may require:

  • proof of purchase;
  • the product name or order number;
  • photographs showing the complete product;
  • detailed photographs of the affected area;
  • information about installation, use and maintenance; and
  • any other information reasonably required to determine warranty eligibility.

Products and components must not be returned without prior authorisation from Outdorable.

What to Expect from Premium Accoya Over Time

Accoya is a natural timber product. As it settles into its environment, minor changes to its surface and appearance may occur.

Fine surface checks can develop as the timber responds to changing outdoor conditions. These superficial characteristics are inherent to natural timber and do not normally compromise structural integrity.

If a split or crack exceeds 1.0 mm in width—approximately wide enough to insert the edge of a standard bank card—please provide photographs to Outdorable or your authorised supplier for assessment.

Surface fading, scratches and marks are a normal part of outdoor use. With appropriate cleaning and refinishing, the timber’s appearance can be refreshed. Re-oiling or refinishing is primarily cosmetic and is not required to maintain Accoya’s inherent resistance to rot and decay.

Each piece of this equipment is crafted from sustainably sourced timber, making it uniquely distinct, just like us. Choosing natural materials over plastic and steel allows us to embrace the organic variations and imperfections that give timber its authentic character.

Please see the video below on how to refurbish and re-oil the outdorable equipment.
