🔹Where is Outdorable play equipment made?

Our products are crafted using Accoya, a modified New Zealand Radiata Pine, which when acetylated, results in a class 1 durable timber with unmatched stability in outdoor environments. Accoya’s main factory is based in the Netherlands. From here, we have our weatherproof timber crafted into play equipment at our licensed production facilities within Europe. Selected products are manufactured in New Zealand, and a range of accessories are produced in various facilities, including the USA, UK, and Asia. 

🔹What age group is Outdorable equipment designed for?

Our play solutions are created specifically for children aged 0-6 years, supporting open-ended, natural play in supervised learning environments.

🔹How do I purchase Outdorable products?

NZ Customers: Purchase directly from Outdorable, right here on our website or contact our team at sales@outdorable.com.

International Customers: Products are available through our regional distributors in Australia, USA, UK, Taiwan, and UAE. 🔹What makes Outdorable different from traditional playgrounds?

Unlike fixed, ‘McDonald’s style’ playgrounds, Outdorable equipment is movable, modular, and designed for flexible learning environments, allowing educators to adapt play spaces to children’s developmental needs.

Yes! We use FSC-certified timber sourced from New Zealand’s sustainable forests, ensuring eco-conscious production with a low environmental footprint.

🔹 Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Our distributors manage global fulfillment for customers in Australia, USA, UK, Taiwan, and UAE. Outside of these regions ? not a problem. We have shipped single packages directly to clients far and wide. Get in touch today should you wish to discuss. 

🔹 How long does shipping take?

Delivery times vary based on location and distributor stock levels. Please check with your regional distributor for estimated shipping times.

🔹 Do you provide installation guidance?

Yes! Our equipment is designed for easy setup, and we provide assembly guides and support resources, including safety videos. Check out our videos section to view some of our support videos.

🔹My equipment has a hairline Split in the timber. Should I be concerned? 

As explained in our guarantee details, small hairline splits or ‘checks’ can appear in the first few months of having your equipment. This is expected with all biogenic materials that originate from living organisms and continue to interact over time. Generally, they will not deteriorate over time unless they are significant splits and cracks (opening greater than 1.0m). If your equipment has a significant split or crack greater than 1.0mm opening (which can be checked using a bank card to see if it fits in the split), please get in touch with us with some photos, and we will discuss this with you. 

🔹Will my equipment fade in the sun ?  

Yes, Accoya wood will naturally weather over time when exposed to sunlight and outdoor elements. Like other wood species, it will transition to a silvery-grey color due to UV exposure and environmental factors. Note: This weathering does not affect its durability, stability, or performance—it remains highly resistant to rot and decay. If you prefer to maintain its original appearance, applying a natural oil to the timber periodically can help preserve its colour. We do offer our outdorable Bio Oil in some regions.
